Finally, she has a website to showcase it. Go look.

… not in a I have lots around my house gothic/voodoo way. But, I do find them quite fascinating once illustrated, such a simple shape visualised in 1001 ways by 1001 artists.
I can trace my interest back to browsing some images of All Souls Day or El Día de los Muertos at university, I still have an interest in that particular imagery (and the idea of celebrating those lost) and have planned to add some to my tattoo. Once i summon up the cash/courage…
Anyway, I found this site, not only does it have a great URL, but it has some amazing work on it. Please do have a look and don’t be scared… of me.. or the site…

Don’t worry, I’m aware this is the first post on my new blog, believe me, i know… it took me ages to get wordpress on my server… but it’s just not a worthy post is it? ‘Welcome to my new blog! hurray for me…’
So, here we go… something ‘proper’
I’ve always been a fan of Milton Glaser, doing what I do, I think it’s hard not to be, so the news of a documentary about the great man was met with excitement… quickly followed by utter disappointment, when I found out it was in the states and I’d already missed it. Double score.
Well, movie aside, I still enjoyed a meander around the website of the man himself. Most inspirational.
