This makes me smile
As does everything else on Sandrine Estrade Boulet’s site. Beautiful work, amazing observational skills, just… well… lovely!

Urban Sketches
As you may (or may not) know, i like drawing. i’m not really into drawing people, not because i’m crap at it, hell no, but well, i like straight lines. i like buildings and… ummm… straight things.
Anyway, nice to see there are people out there doing similar (with a few people thrown in for good measure, goddam them).

Letterpress
Despite working in the digital medium predominantly (or perhaps because of…), i love, love, letterpress, in fact all things… ummm… ‘printy’ and ‘inky’ i also love skulls. win. win.
Lovely promotional poster from Shaw Nielsen, superbly executed by Genghis Kern (great name).
Lovely, lovely, lovely…
I can’t get enough of Ingela P Arrhenius‘ work. It’s just… well, lovely!
Road of Knives
Road of Knives just has everything, monsters, fighting, motorbikes…
Described by the authors as a ‘Battle Blog’ with artists taking turns to draw monsters fighting, personally, I’d just describe it as ace.
Thanks to SuperPunch (again)
Awesome artwork
With some wicked little twists of humour. Love the sinister little hoodlums on this one.
Plenty more to see here
They’ve arrived…

In french. But still ace.
Shawn Barber
I got quite obsessed with Miami Ink, especially when Kat Von D arrived… ummm… amazing artist… then I obviously followed her to LA. Not literally, but via DMAX.
Anyway, the point of this is, I first saw Shawn Barber’s work on afore mentioned Miami based show, where he painted an amazing portrait of Kat Von D. There’s a couple on his site along with tons of other amazing work and amazing people. Go look. Love the hands.
In case you’re not a geek like me, the image is of Kim Saigh (top artist and LA Ink star).
