Jessica Hische.
I can’t quite find the words to describe how much I’m enjoying looking at Jessica Hische’s work. Really, really lovely.
Thanks to It’s Nice That.
Suicidal Tendencies.
And I quote ‘Despite the coast guard labeling the conditions double code red and delivering threats to arrest anyone who entered the water, a few intrepid surfers still took a dip.’
Thanks Cool Hunting for making me feel rather small, in awe and more than a little scared.
Deus.
More lovely stuff from Deus ex Machina…
Bike of the Week.
It’s been a long time coming, but I think you’ll agree, it was worth the wait.
1910 Pierce Chainless Full Suspension bicycle on Dave’s Vintage Bicycles and via Culture Cycles.
Nice.
I’ve been looking for a top WWII-esque bit of leather, so far, Eastman seem to be top dog, amazing reproduction work, with a little updating where it counts.
Anyway, I’m not convinced my desire for authenticity would take me this far, but these shots of personalised bomber jackets from WWII are amazing.
Thanks to Retronaut for sharing.
Lego.
Awesome selection of Lego pack shots over on Another Design Blog. I had this one btw *wells up*.
Thanks to Kathy Kavan once again.
DMZ.
I’m no fanboy, but I do love a good comic, or ‘graphic novel’ if you prefer. I liked DMZ, admittedly as much for it’s art as it’s story-lines, but I liked it none-the-less. It’s a real shame to see it go…
Thanks to Crack-a-jack (the full article is in German btw).
Footscape.
As you all know, I am totally over trainers, if I were not, I suspect I would be all over these.
Thanks to Highsnobiety.
